A note from Mrs. Beckham

My name is Brandi Beckham, and I am excited to be entering my 13th year in education and 1st year as the Principal at LSK. I have spent the past 2 1/2 years as the LSK Assistant Principal. My first nine years were spent in DeSoto ISD and Highland Park ISD as a 5th grade Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I had the pleasure of joining Maypearl ISD as a 5th grade Language Arts teacher at LSK Elementary in 2019. Throughout my teaching career I have been an 8th grade cheerleading coach, a cooperative learning coach and trainer, a Student Leadership Club Sponsor, and Panther Council Sponsor, and dual UIL Coordinator. I obtained my bachelor's degree at the University of North Texas and my master's degree at Concordia University. I grew up in Maypearl, and while many things have changed over the years I was gone, some things never changed- the value of education Maypearl ISD holds and the level of expectations we have for our students.  Maypearl is and will always be my home, and I am extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work within a district that truly loves and supports their students.
